The sports and mass event " International Minsk Triathlon 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) is an official sports and mass event and is held on the basis of the republican calendar plan of sports and mass events for 2025, approved by the order of the Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus of _________ No. ___, as well as in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 4, 2014 No. 125-Z "On Physical Culture and Sports" and the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of September 19, 2014 No. 903 "On Holding Sports and Mass Events on the Territory of the Republic of Belarus".
1. Purpose and Objectives of the Competition
1.1. The Competition is held to promote a healthy lifestyle and involve various segments of the population in active physical culture and sports.
1.2. Objectives:
Develop and strengthen sports ties between countries and organizations;
Develop mass sports and attract the population to an active lifestyle, as well as improve the sportsmanship of professionals.
2. Management and Organization of the Competition
2.1. The overall management of the organization and conduct of the Competition is carried out by the organizing committee (hereinafter referred to as the Organizers), which includes representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, the Main Department of Sports and Tourism of the Minsk City Executive Committee, and the Public Association "Belarusian Triathlon Federation".
The direct conduct of the Competition is entrusted to the Public Association "Belarusian Triathlon Federation".
3. Time and Place of the Competition
3.1. The Competition will be held on August 1-2, 2025. The swimming start will be at the territory of Minsk Sea (exact location to be specified). The cycling race will take place along the route: Pobediteley Avenue, Nezavisimosti Avenue. The running route will be laid along the bike path around the area of the institution "RCOP for team sports "'Sports Palace" (hereinafter referred to as the Finish Area). Details of the routes will be posted on the Competition website no later than July 15, 2025. The finish location will be at the "Sports Palace."
4. Participants of the Competitions
4.1. The Competition will be held at the following distances:
- main distances:
- triathlon distance "Half" (1,900 m swimming + 90 km cycling + 21 km running);
- triathlon distance "Olympic" (1,000 m swimming + 45 km cycling + 10.5 km running);
- triathlon distance "Sprint" (500 m swimming + 22 km cycling + 5.25 km running);
- relay races:
- triathlon distance "Half";
- triathlon distance "Olympic";
- triathlon distance "Sprint";
- women's race "Minsk Lady Run":
- 5,000 m running;
- children's races "TriKids":
- 500 m running.
4.2. All individuals aged 18 years and older are allowed to participate in the Competition at the "Half" and "Olympic" triathlon distances, including relay races.
4.3. All individuals aged 14 years and older are allowed to participate in the Competition at the "Sprint" triathlon distance.
4.4. Only women aged 14 years and older, who are capable of completing the full distance independently, can participate in the 5,000 m "Minsk Lady Run."
4.5. Children under 13 can participate in the 500 m "TriKids" races.
4.6. The age of a participant in the Competition is determined as of December 31, 2025.
4.7. By participating in the Competition, a participant confirms that they regularly undergo medical examinations, have no medical or other health restrictions that may endanger or limit their participation in the Competition, including having no contraindications to prolonged physical exertion, and that their health condition allows them to participate in the Competition, accepting all risks and negative consequences associated with violating this condition.
4.8. For minors, all risks associated with violating the conditions listed in paragraph 4.7 are assumed by their parents or legal representatives.
4.9. The total limit for participants across all distances is set at 3,000 people.
5. Registration for the Competition
5.1. Electronic registration for participants of the Competition will be open on the website minsktriathlon.by from 19:00 on November 12, 2024, until 23:59 on July 29, 2025.
5.2. When registering, participants are required to provide personal information in accordance with their passport.
5.3. A registration fee is required for competition participants. The collected funds will be used to cover organizational expenses and to form a prize fund for the winners of the competition. The organizer of the competition is responsible for receiving and spending the registration fees.
5.4. The registration fee for individual distances is as follows:
• For the "Sprint" distance — starting from 150 BYN;
• For the "Olympic" distance — starting from 290 BYN;
• For the "Half" distance — starting from 350 BYN;
5.5. The registration fee (total for the entire team) for participation in corporate relays is:
• For the "Sprint" distance — starting from 350 BYN;
• For the "Olympic" distance — starting from 600 BYN;
• For the "Half" distance — starting from 750 BYN.
Participation of teams from ministries and agencies within the framework of the sports competition "Spartakiad" for employees of republican state administration bodies is free of charge. Participation of other teams is on a general basis.
5.6. The registration fee for women participating in the 5000 m running event "Minsk Lady Run" is starting from 50 BYN;
5.7. The registration fee for children participating in the 500 m running event "TriKids" is 10 BYN;
5.8. Individuals with disabilities of all groups are allowed to participate in the Competition free of charge.
5.9. A participant is considered registered if they have completed the registration form and paid the registration fee.
5.10. The registration of a participant will be canceled if the participant provides false or incomplete information. In the case of cancellation, the registration fee will not be refunded.
5.11. Additional registration for participants in the Competition will be conducted during the distribution of starter packs on August 1, 2025, subject to availability of spots.
5.12. Paid registration for the Competition is non-refundable, and the registration fee will not be returned.
5.13. By filling out the registration form to participate in the Competition, the participant consents to the processing of their personal data.
The processing of personal data includes any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed using automation tools or without such tools with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data.
The processing of the participant's personal data is carried out solely for the purpose of ensuring the participant's registration for the competition and subsequently sending the participant short text messages (SMS) or emails with information about the competition and other information related to the participant and the competition.
The date of consent to the processing of the participant's personal data is the date of submission of the registration form on the website minsktriathlon.by.
Consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked by the participant by sending a written statement in any form to the email address info@minsktriathlon.by regarding the withdrawal of consent for the processing of personal data.
6. Change of Distance/Transfer of Registration to Another Participant
6.1. The distance of the paid registration for the Competition can be changed until July 21, 2025, subject to availability of spots. To change the distance, a request must be sent to the email address: info@minsktriathlon.by.
6.2. Changes to the distance will not be made after the electronic registration has ended and on the day of the distribution of starter packs to participants.
6.3. A registered participant may transfer their registration to a third party who is not registered for the Competition until July 21, 2025. To transfer registration, the registered participant must complete a request in the established form and send it to: info@minsktriathlon.by.
7. Admission to the Competition. Age Groups.
7.1. Admission of a participant to the Competition and receipt of the starter pack by the participant is carried out upon personal submission to the Organizers of the following documents:
• Original identification document;
• Original medical certificate containing the stamp of the medical institution, signature and stamp of the doctor, date of issuance and validity period including August 2, 2025, full name of the participant, and a conclusion stating that the participant is allowed to compete (or has no contraindications for participating in the Competition);
• Insurance policy for life and health against accidents;
• For foreign participants, the medical certificate must be provided in English; for citizens of the Russian Federation, the certificate must be provided in Russian;
• For participants under 18 years old: original consent from parents for participation in the Competition, completed according to the template.
7.2. The medical certificate submitted to the Mandate Commission is not returned. A photocopy of the medical certificate is accepted by the commission only upon presentation of the original.
7.3. In the absence of an identification document or medical certificate, the participant will not be allowed to compete, and the race number and starter pack will not be issued.
7.4. Individual scoring will be conducted in the following groups:
In all distances:
Men's Absolute M;
Women's Absolute W;
In the "Sprint" distance:
Y 18 (juniors aged 14-17);
M, W 18-24 (men and women aged 18 to 24);
Y18 (juniors 14-17 years old);
M, W 18-24 (men and women 18-24 years old);
M, W 25-39 (men and women 25-39 years old);
M, W 40-49 (men and women 40-49 years old);
M, W 50-59 (men and women 50-59 years old);
M, W 60-69 (men and women 60-69 years old);
M 70+ (men 70 years and older).
"Olympic" and "Half" distances:
M 18-24 (men 18-24 years old);
M 25-29 (men 25-29 years old);
M 30-34 (men 30-34 years old);
M 35-39 (men 35-39 years old);
M 40-44 (men 40-44 years old);
M 45-49 (men 45-49 years old);
M 50-54 (men 50-54 years old);
M 55-59 (men 55-59 years old);
M 60+ (men 60 years and older);
W 18-29 (women 18-29 years old);
W 30-39 (women 30-39 years old);
W 40-49 (women 40-49 years old);
W 50+ (women 50 years and older);
The oldest participants in each distance may be awarded separately.

7.5. Relay Scoring
Relay scoring will be conducted in the following groups: men, women, and mixed.
7.5.1. Relay teams will be formed from those who wish to participate. Participants must be at least 14 years old (for the "Sprint" distance) and at least 18 years old (for the "Half" and "Olympic" distances).
7.6. Additional Groups
Depending on the number of registered participants, the Organizers reserve the right to create additional groups or combine existing ones.
7.7. Awarding Expenses
The costs of awarding participants will be covered by the Organizing Committee, sponsors, and partners.
8. General Competition Rules
8.1. These rules are intended to familiarize participants with the specifics of the Competition, to ensure the safety of participants on the course, and to guarantee fair judging.
8.2. By registering for the Competition, an athlete accepts the terms and conditions set forth in this document. Compliance with and acceptance of these rules is a primary requirement for participation in the Competition. If the rules set forth in this document contradict international rules, the rules set forth in this document shall take precedence. The main provisions of this document will also be announced at the pre-start briefing.
8.3. The main principles of the Competition are fairness and compliance with the rules. Athletes are prohibited from gaining an advantage over other athletes by violating the rules. Athletes cannot obstruct, threaten other participants in the Competition, or interfere with the work of the Organizers. Athletes must be polite to other athletes, volunteers, judges, and medical personnel. Athletes must comply with traffic rules and follow the instructions of the Organizers, judges, and medical personnel. Athletes must respect the environment and avoid polluting it.
8.4. Any participant who poses a danger to other participants may be removed from the Competition by decision of the Chief Judge.
8.5. The use of doping is prohibited.
8.6. Participants in the Competition are allowed to use only official (registered) symbols and attributes.
8.7. The Organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules and Regulations regarding the conduct of the Competition at any time. In the event of changes, this will be announced on the official website of the Competition - this will be considered official notification.
8.8. During the competition, the Organizers have the right to organize catering, as well as the sale of a wide range of food products and catering services, including involving third parties and organizations on a commercial basis in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
9. Safety Measures for the Competition
9.1. The Organizers, in conjunction with the Minsk City State Traffic Inspectorate, will ensure the closure and regulation of vehicular traffic, as well as control over the correct movement of vehicles on sections of roads designated for the Competition, to ensure the safety of participants in the cycling and running stages of the Competition. In the event of unforeseen or force majeure circumstances, alternative methods of ensuring the safety of participants on the course are permitted.
9.2. Each athlete is personally responsible for the condition and technical safety of their sports equipment and must guarantee that other athletes, volunteers, and spectators will not be at risk from its use.
9.3. If an athlete's equipment does not meet safety requirements, the athlete will not be allowed to participate in the Competition. Alternatively, they will need to rectify the non-compliance before the start of the Competition and placing the equipment in the transition zone.
9.4. During the Competition, it is forbidden to use technical devices that can in any way be characterized as "means of communication and entertainment." These include mobile phones, communicators, pagers, MP3 players, video cameras, etc. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the athlete's disqualification.
9.5. The Organizers of the Competition and the judges on the course have the right to remove an athlete from the Competition if there is sufficient evidence that further participation may cause irreparable harm to their health.
9.6. The Organizers of the Competition are responsible for providing medical assistance to participants.
9.7. Participants will be accompanied by safety boats. In the event of an unforeseen situation (cramp, choking, general deterioration of health, etc.), the participant must stop, wave their hand above their head, and call out to attract the attention of the nearest safety boat.
9.8. If a participant gets into a safety boat, this does not automatically lead to their disqualification. They can rest in the boat, regain their strength, and continue participating if the judges in the boat decide that further swimming will not harm their health.
10. Race Rules
10.1. Athletes can participate individually or in teams (relay races). In individual participation, each athlete completes the entire triathlon distance. In team participation, three athletes sequentially complete the stages of the competition.
10.2. The relay exchange takes place in the transition zone. The electronic chip is worn by the participant who takes over the relay. When crossing the timing line, the chip must be fixed on the left leg for reading. Participants taking over the relay are in the transition zone equipped for their stage.
10.3. Team members participating in the cycling stage must wait for the relay handover in the transition zone, near their bike. The participant who completed the swimming stage passes the chip to the cyclist, who must put it on their leg in the transition zone for the chip to be read when crossing the timing line.
10.4. Team members participating in the running stage must wait for the cyclists in the transition zone, near the bike racks. Upon returning, cyclists must enter the transition zone, place their bike on the rack, and pass the chip to the next runner. The runner puts on the chip in the transition zone and starts the run.
10.5. The swimming stage takes place in the Drozdy reservoir. The course map can be found on the official competition website: minsktriathlon.by.
10.6. Swim caps are provided by the Organizers. They must be worn before the start of the swimming stage. The use of other swim caps, as well as swimming without a cap, is prohibited.
10.7. Participants' personal belongings should be placed in a Deposit bag, which can be left in the storage area at the competition venue. When leaving the bag in storage, it must be marked with a special sticker with the participant's number from the start kit.
10.8. It is forbidden to wear the race number during the swimming stage. It is intended for the cycling and running stages.
10.9. The start is made from the water.
10.10. The water temperature at this time of year can be from +20°C to +25°C. The use of wetsuits is allowed at temperatures up to +24°C. At temperatures above +24°C, wetsuits are prohibited.
10.11. Participants can complete the distance using any swimming style. The use of any improvised means to facilitate swimming (fins, arm bands, gloves, etc.) is prohibited.
10.12. In case of impossibility to hold the swimming stage due to force majeure circumstances (flood, wind speed over 15 m/s, contamination of water with substances dangerous to the health of athletes, etc.), the race will be held in the following formats: "Running stage 10 km - Cycling stage 90 km - Running stage 21 km"; "Running stage 5 km - Cycling stage 45 km - Running stage 10.5 km"; "Running stage 2.5 km - Cycling stage 22 km - Running stage 5.25 km". In this case, the participant has the right to refuse to participate in the Competition, but the paid starting fee will not be refunded.
10.13. After finishing the swimming stage, all belongings from it (wetsuit, goggles, cap, etc.) must be placed in Bike bags in a specially designated area.
10.14. The cycling stage follows the route: Pobediteley Avenue, Nezavisimosti Avenue. The cycling stage map can be found on the website: minsktriathlon.by. The participant is solely responsible for knowing the race route. If a participant does not follow the race route, they may be disqualified.
10.15. The cycling distance is flat, with a slight elevation difference. The entire distance has an asphalt surface.
10.15.1. Participants can only use traditional bicycles powered solely by human leg muscle (the use of mopeds and electric bicycles is strictly prohibited). Road bikes are recommended. Mountain bikes and hybrid bikes are allowed only for the Sprint distance.
10.16. In case of a bike breakdown, the participant is allowed to move on foot or by running, but only with the bike and without obstructing other athletes.
10.17. Technical Requirements for Bikes:
10.17.1. The front wheel must have spokes (blades are allowed), the use of discs on the front wheels is prohibited; the rear wheel can be either spoked or disc;
10.17.2. The use of any mechanisms that amplify or artificially support wheel rotation is prohibited;
10.17.3. The attachment of any mirrors, either on the bike or on the helmet, is prohibited;
10.17.4. The length of the bike cannot exceed two meters, and the width - 75 centimeters;
10.17.5. Each wheel must have at least one working brake;
10.17.6. The use of any non-standard equipment on the bike must be explicitly permitted by the judges.
10.18. Throughout the cycling stage, participants must wear a cycling helmet. The helmet strap must be fastened securely under the chin. The helmet can only be removed at the end of the cycling stage in the transition zone and only after the bike has been placed on the bike rack.
10.19. Drafting (following closely behind another athlete) is prohibited. The distance between athletes must be at least two meters to the right and left, and at least twelve meters forward and backward. In case of overtaking, the athlete is given 25 seconds during which these distances may be shorter. Violation results in a yellow card. An overtaken athlete cannot be in the drafting zone for more than 20 seconds.
10.20. Double overtaking (overtaking a participant who is currently overtaking another) is prohibited.
10.21. Overtaking from the right is prohibited.
10.22. On the cycling stage, the participant number must be located at the back to be visible to judges and volunteers. The use of special waist belts is recommended.
10.23. The number sticker must be placed on the seat post of the bicycle and be visible to judges and volunteers.
10.24. The number sticker on the helmet must be placed on the front of the helmet and be visible to judges and volunteers.
10.25. Riding shirtless during the cycling stage is prohibited.
10.26. In case of a breakdown, participants must repair it themselves using their spare parts. Assistance from spectators or coaches is only allowed in special technical zones located in the areas of the feeding stations.
10.27. Assistance from other competitors is allowed.
10.28. The use of support vehicles and receiving assistance from them is prohibited.
10.29. After completing the cycling stage, the participant must fold the items that were used on the cycling stage into a RUN bag and leave it in the transition zone in a specially designated place.
10.30. The running course is laid out on the bike path and paths of Pobediteley Park. The running course map can be found on the website: minsktriathlon.by.
10.31. The running course surface is asphalt and paving slabs.
10.32. The terrain is mainly flat, with a slight elevation difference.
10.33. There are refreshment stations on the running course.
10.34. Athletes can complete the running stage by running or walking. The use of any mechanical vehicles (roller skates, bicycles, scooters, etc.) is prohibited.
10.35. On the running stage, the participant number must be located at the front to be visible to judges and volunteers. The use of special waist belts is recommended.
10.36. It is prohibited to be in the running stage with a bare torso.
10.37. Participants' own additional nutrition can only be placed in the stationary food station zone.
10.38. Assistance (including food) from spectators is prohibited. Assistance from other competitors is allowed.
10.39. Friends, family members, and other spectators are prohibited from crossing the finish line or entering the finish corridor together with a competitor. Violation of this rule results in disqualification.
10.40. The competition has a cut-off time, which is calculated for the swimming and cycling stages at the time of leaving the transition zone for the next stage.
Swimming stage must be completed:
For the "Half" distance (1900m swim) no later than 60 minutes after the start;
For the "Olympic" distance (1000m swim) no later than 45 minutes after the start;
For the "Sprint" distance (500m swim) no later than 20 minutes after the start.
Cycling stage must be completed:
For the "Half" distance (90km bike) no later than 4 hours and 30 minutes after the start;
For the "Olympic" distance (45km bike) no later than 2 hours and 45 minutes after the start;
For the "Sprint" distance (22km bike) no later than 1 hour and 30 minutes after the start.
Running stage must be completed:
For the "Half" distance (21km run) no later than 7 hours after the start;
For the "Olympic" distance (10.5km run) no later than 4 hours after the start;
For the "Sprint" distance (5.25km run) no later than 2 hours and 30 minutes after the start.
10.41. If a participant does not meet the cut-off time, they will be withdrawn from the Competition for safety reasons, as the Organizers will not be able to ensure safety after opening the road for traffic.
11. Transition Zone
11.1. Entry into the transition zone is only permitted with a participant's bracelet. This bracelet is given to all participants when they receive their race packets and must be worn on the wrist until the end of the competition.
11.2. From the moment bicycles are placed in the transition zone, only athletes, volunteers, and organizers may be within the transition zone. Coaches, relatives, and spectators are not allowed.
11.3. Movement within the transition zone is strictly defined. When moving, you must follow the transition scheme, drawn markings, and instructions from volunteers.
11.4. The entrance and exit from the transition zone are separate.
11.5. All athletes' belongings must be placed in special bags: Deposit - a bag for items that were worn by the athlete before the start and/or may be needed after the finish; Bike - a bag for items that are needed for the cycling stage, items are placed in this bag after the swimming stage (wetsuit, cap, goggles); RUN - a bag for items that are needed for the running stage. Items are placed in this bag after the cycling stage. All bags with belongings must be placed on special racks strictly in accordance with the number. Marking bags in any way, except for the sticker with the number provided by the Organizers, is strictly prohibited. Athletes must take out and put things in the bags themselves.
11.6. Changing clothes must be done in specially designated changing areas.
11.7. After changing clothes, items from the previous stage must be placed in a bag, which must be placed in a specially designated area. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a penalty.
1.8. It is allowed to place cycling shoes on the bicycle (if they are attached to the pedals). However, in case of possible adverse weather conditions (strong wind, rain, etc.), the Organizers may, at their discretion, introduce a requirement to place cycling shoes exclusively in the SWIM bag.
11.9. The bicycle is placed on a bicycle rack, strictly in the place designated by the participant's number. The bicycle is hung by the saddle.
11.10. After completing the swimming stage, athletes must find their own bicycle in the transition zone and remove it from the bicycle rack.
11.11. Cycling within the transition zone is prohibited; athletes can only move next to the bicycle. You can only get on the bicycle outside the transition zone. This place is marked with a line on the ground, and a volunteer will be nearby to indicate the end of the transition zone.
11.12. Similarly, entering the transition zone on a bicycle is prohibited. Before entering, you must get off the bicycle and enter the transition zone, leading it next to you.
11.13. After completing the cycling stage, the bicycle must be placed on the bicycle rack, strictly in its place.
11.14. Two transition zones are equipped for the Competition: T1 - the base of the Belarusian Sailing Federation and T2 - the Finish Area.
12. Timekeeping
12.1. An electronic timekeeping system is used at the Competition. Each participant must receive a personal electronic chip before the start, which is issued at registration.
12.2. The participant is responsible for the issued chip and must take it at the Competition after issuance the day before the start.
12.3. The chip is attached to the lower part of the left leg with an elastic band (provided by the Organizers) and is not removed throughout the entire competition.
12.4. In case of loss of the chip, the participant must immediately notify the Organizers of the Competition. Further participation of the athlete is possible only with the positive decision of the members of the Organizers.
12.5. After finishing the race, when leaving the transition zone, participants must return the chip to the Organizers.
12.6. To additionally control the passage of participants along the distance, other timekeeping methods may be used.

13. Penalties
13.1. In case of non-compliance with the above-mentioned rules of the Competition, participants shall be penalized.
13.2. The numbers of participants who have received a penalty are transferred by the judges to a special zone (Penalty box), which is located on the running stage. The numbers of participants who have received a penalty are written on a special board in the Penalty box.
13.3. The participant is personally responsible for serving the penalty time in the Penalty box. The participant can stop in the Penalty box on any lap of the running stage. After the participant has spent the allotted penalty time in the Penalty box, his number is crossed out from the list of penalty numbers by the Organizers.
13.4. If an athlete fails to serve the penalty in the Penalty box, he is disqualified.
13.5. The penalty system at the Competition is as follows: a verbal warning is not punishable in any way, it serves to correct the actions of athletes in case of minor violations; the first violation (yellow card) – a stop for 20 seconds (for the "Sprint" distance), for 1 minute (for the "Olympic" distance) and for 2 minutes (for the "Half" distance); the second violation (yellow card) – a stop for 1 minute (for the "Sprint" distance), for 2 minutes (for the "Olympic" distance) and for 5 minutes (for the "Half" distance); the third violation (yellow card) – disqualification; gross violation of the rules (red card) – immediate disqualification.
13.6. The gradation of penalties by severity at the Competition is as follows:
13.6.1. Swimming stage:
penalty (yellow card): false start, cutting the distance, not swimming around buoys (depending on the size of the cut – yellow or red card), not using a swimming cap, putting on a starting number under a wetsuit;
penalty (red card): using prohibited improvised means for swimming (fins, armbands, gloves, etc.), intentional rudeness towards other athletes, spectators, volunteers, judges, ignoring the judges' requirements.
13.6.2. Cycling stage:
penalty (yellow card): being in the transition zone on a bicycle, violating the rules on the prohibition of drafting, being on the cycling stage with a bare torso, using a phone, player, navigator, headphones, dropping litter outside feeding points;
penalty (red card): intentionally cutting the distance, being on the cycling stage without a helmet, ignoring the judges' requirements, using technical and other assistance not agreed upon by the Organizers, using prohibited equipment, intentional rudeness towards other athletes, spectators, volunteers, judges.
13.6.3. Running stage:
penalty (yellow card): using a phone, player, navigator, headphones, being on the running stage with a bare torso, using assistance not agreed upon by the Organizers;
penalty (red card): intentionally cutting the distance, ignoring the judges' requirements, intentional rudeness towards other athletes, spectators, volunteers, judges.
13.6.4. Transition zone:
penalty (1 minute in the Penalty box): complete nudity, riding a bicycle in the transition zone;
penalty (red card): ignoring the judges' requirements, intentional rudeness towards other athletes, spectators, volunteers, judges.
14. Judging Panel
14.1. The composition of the judging panel is approved by the corresponding organization conducting the Competition.
14.2. The main judging panel of the Competition consists of:
- Chief Judge of the Competition;
- Deputy Chief Judge;
- Chief Secretary.
14.3. Duties of the main judging panel:
14.3.1. Chief Judge of the Competition:
- Forms the judging panel and leads its work during the Competition;
- Assembles teams of judges, the admission committee, and conducts an introductory seminar with them;
- Conducts meetings of the judging panel, technical meetings with team representatives;
- Ensures the preparation and implementation of the Regulations by the judging panel;
- Makes decisions on protests and disputed issues;
- Approves the results of the Competition.
In case of violation of the rules, as well as in the event of conditions that threaten the life and health of participants, the chief judge has the right to:
- Terminate the Competition;
- Amend the Regulations;
- Remove judges who have made gross errors or who have failed to fulfill their duties;
- Apply disciplinary measures to the participants of the Competition. No one has the right to interfere with the activities of the chief judge of the Competition during the Competition.
14.3.2. Deputy Chief Judge:
- Makes decisions on the assessment of athletes' actions;
- Is responsible for the correct determination of results, ranking, and transfer to the secretariat of signed working documents;
- Approves the preliminary results of the Competition;
- Issues official warnings to participants; * Provides official information on the progress of the Competition;
- Is responsible for the safety of judges, participants, media representatives, and spectators;
- Conducts radio sessions;
- Has the right, in the event of conditions that threaten the life and health of participants, to terminate the Competition.
14.3.3. Chief Secretary:
- Leads the work of the secretariat;
- Participates in the work of the admission committee;
- Keeps minutes of the meetings of the main judging panel and technical meetings of the main judging panel with team representatives;
- Is responsible for the timely preparation of judicial documentation and the correctness of the calculation of results;
- Prepares materials for the report of the chief judge;
- Draws up current and final protocols.
15. Protests
15.1. In case of disagreement with the results of the Competition, penalties imposed, disqualification, the actions of judges, or for other reasons, a participant has the right to file a protest with the Organizers of the Competition.
15.2. A protest is submitted in writing along with a monetary fee of 100 (one hundred) rubles no later than one hour after the announcement of the results.
15.3. A commission consisting of a representative of the Organizers, the chief judge, and the technical delegate of the Competition considers the athlete's protest.
15.4. If it is possible to make a quick decision, the commission either grants or denies the athlete's protest by the closing of the Competition.
15.5. If it is impossible to make a quick decision, the commission considers the protest within three days after the end of the Competition. During this time, additional materials may be considered to make a decision on the athlete's protest.
15.6. Official protocols of the past Competitions are posted on the official website of the Competition. The official results of the race are final and cannot be appealed.
15.7. The Organizers of the Competition reserve the right not to respond to comments and protests from athletes if they are expressed in an inappropriate, harsh, or rude manner.
15.8. In case of satisfaction of the protest requirements, the protest fee is returned in full.
16. Awards
16.1. Awards and prizes from the Organizers are awarded to participants in the following categories:
- Men and women who took 1-3 places in the absolute standings at the "Half", "Olympic", and "Sprint" distances – with cups and valuable prizes;
- Men and women who took 1-3 places in their age categories – with cups and gifts from partners;
- Relay teams that took 1-3 places – with cups and gifts from partners;
- Women who took 1-3 places in the absolute standings in the 5,000m race – with cups and gifts from partners.
16.2. Participants awarded in the absolute standings are not awarded in age categories. All participants who have completed the distance are awarded honorary finisher medals and finishers' t-shirts.
16.3. In case of non-appearance of the winner or prize-winner at the award ceremony, the Organizers reserve the right to dispose of the prizes at their discretion.
